Yes. Telehealth visits are an option for follow up or urgent visits. Please know Dr. FitzGerald requires new patient initial visits to be conducted in person on Tuesdays.

Yes. Dr. FitzGerald prescribes traditional pharmaceuticals. She also asks patients to commit to lifestyle and dietary adjustments along with nutritional supplements, herbal medicines, exercise, and mindfulness recommendations. We always advise you continue to work with your primary and specialty providers for complete holistic care.

First visits are typically 2 hours, so please allow sufficient time for this initial visit. Follow-up visits often range from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on patient needs.

The frequency of appointments varies based on the condition being treated. Most commonly, though, Dr. FitzGerald will see you for a follow up appointment within 1 month after your initial visit to go over lab or test results. Sometimes you will require follow up every 2-3 months until your condition is resolved or stable.

When needed, Dr. FitzGerald advises on the use of high quality, pharmaceutical grade products. Many of the brands recommended can only be found at local health food stores or through health care practitioners. Dr. FitzGerald creates personalized plans for her patients through her Fullscript Dispensary account where you can view, learn about, and purchase what has been recommended and have products shipped directly to your home. After your visit, you will be given access to the Dispensary. Often your Fullscript plan will be updated by Dr. FitzGerald after follow-up visits. When this happens, a new message will be sent to you directly through the dispensary and via your Athena portal via email under Visit Summary.

No, but most insurance companies will reimburse “out-of-network” for services that are rendered. Statements for your visit are available under your Athena patient portal with information needed for you to submit to your insurance company. Patients can submit to their insurance plans, HSAs, or FSAs. We do not guarantee coverage for visits and we do not offer refunds. Credit Card information is collected prior to your visit to hold your appointment, and payment is processed and collected in full upon completion of your visit. A non-refundable $100 no show fee will be collected for any missed appointments.

Cancelling an appointment requires two full business days’ notice. Cancellation without proper notice or a no-shows will result in a late fee of $100.

FROM LITCHFIELD COUNTY OR HARTFORD: Take Route 84 heading West. At Danbury (Exit 3) take Route 7 South for approximately 10 minutes to the junction of Route 35 (Danbury Rd.) Turn right onto Route 35 and proceed for approximately two miles. 100 Danbury Rd. is on the left, directly behind the Union Savings Bank, and directly across Danbury Road from the Gulf gas station. We are in building 100B in the back. Use the MAIN entrance on the right-hand side of the building as you approach from Danbury Road; Suite 102 is on the first floor. FROM THE HUTCHINSON PARKWAY NORTH/ I-684N or ROUTE 35: Take the Hutchinson Parkway North to Exit 6/ Route 35/ Cross River, turning right from the off-ramp onto Route 35.
